Conoce a Monk, el &#8216;gato vampiro&#8217; negro que lo está petando

Puede sonar horrible pero es una monada. ¿Un ‘gato vampiro’? Lo que faltaba. ¿Y negro? Ya el colmo del gafe. Sin embargo, una vez se ven las fotos de Monk, que así se llama el animalito, uno comprueba que es una preciosidad y a pesar de sus largos colmillos, con los que se ha ganado el siniestro sobrenombre, el gatete es una preciosidad.

Monk es un gato de seis años de edad que fue rescatado de las calles. La humana que le sirve, Nicole Rienzie, documenta la vida del felino en Instagram y confirma que no se trata de ningún truco, que los colmillos son reales.

«Son 100% reales», afirma Rienzie a Mashable. «Los colmillos son de 1,9 centímetros… en otras palabras… ENORMES». La misma Rienzie explicó que aunque no es normal, no hay ningún problema de salud con Monk.

Rienzie destaca que Monk «me ayuda a sobrellevar mi depresión y mi pena, al igual que su hermano más joven, Bean». Al contrario que Monk, Bean tiene unos dientes normales. Él no es un ‘gato vampiro’.

La ‘dueña’ de los gatos (todos sabemos que en verdad los gatos son los dueños de sus humanos) afirma que la cuenta de Instagram era suya, pero que borró todas sus fotos y cambió el nombre de usuario. «Comencé a usarla para satisfacer mis locas necesidades de señora gata», afirma. «Monk y Bean son mis ‘niños’ así que quiero mostrárselos al mundo, como cualquier padre haría (ríe)».
